Inconel CNC Machining Sourced from Vetted Vietnam Factories

Inconel 625, 718, and 825 demand specialized tooling, low cutting speeds, and rigid setups few shops handle well. We connect you with the small group of Vietnam factories that actually do — pre-vetted, audited, and managed end-to-end.

Why a Sourcing Agent

Inconel Isn't a Routine CNC Job

Most "Vietnam CNC" suppliers will accept your Inconel RFQ — but few have the tooling investment, programming experience, or quality discipline to deliver. We've already filtered the field for you.

01

Tooling Burns Through Margin

Inconel work-hardens fast. Without ceramic or coated carbide tooling matched to the alloy, cycle times double and tools die in hours. Untrained shops bid low, then deliver late or off-spec.

02

Material Cert Fraud Is Real

Inconel 718 raw stock costs 8–15× mild steel. Without independent mill cert verification and PMI testing, "718" arriving from an unfamiliar mill can be a substitute alloy. We catch this at IQC.

03

One-Off Risk vs. Network Depth

Going direct to one factory means one point of failure on a critical aerospace or energy part. Our partner network gives you a vetted backup — same drawing, second source, no re-qualification.

Alloys Our Network Handles

Inconel is a family, not one material. Each grade has different machinability, application fit, and supply chain. Our partner factories specialize across the most-requested grades for aerospace, oil & gas, and turbine applications.

  • 625
Marine, exhaust, chemical processing. Excellent corrosion resistance, weldable, high temperature.
  • 718
Aerospace, gas turbines, fasteners. Highest demand grade. Age-hardenable. Most-requested in our network.
  • 825
Oil & gas, downhole tools. Stress corrosion cracking resistance in sour service environments.
  • 600 / 601
Furnace components, heat treatment fixtures. Available on request via specialized partner shops.
How It Works

From Drawing to Delivery — 4 Steps

A boots-on-the-ground sourcing process designed specifically for high-spec, low-volume nickel superalloy work.

1

Send Drawing & Spec

Upload STEP/PDF + tolerance, alloy grade, quantity, and any cert requirements (FAI, mill cert, PMI).

2

We Match 2–3 Shops

From our pre-vetted Inconel-capable network. You see anonymized capability profiles and quotes within 5–7 business days.

3

FAI + Production Run

First Article Inspection on every new part. Independent QC visits the shop during run. PMI on incoming raw stock.

4

Pre-Ship Inspection & Logistics

100% or AQL inspection per your spec. Mill certs and FAI report sent before ship. Door-to-door logistics if needed.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked

Why source Inconel from Vietnam instead of US/EU/China?
Vietnam offers a credible China-alternative for buyers concerned about tariffs, geopolitics, or supply concentration. Cost sits below US/EU shops while quality from vetted partners matches mid-tier Chinese suppliers. We focus only on the small subset of Vietnam factories that genuinely have Inconel experience — most do not.
What's the typical lead time for Inconel parts?
Prototype: 3–5 weeks including raw material lead time (Inconel stock isn't always on shelf). Production batches of 50–500 pcs: 6–10 weeks. Lead times stretch on Grade 718 in larger sizes due to global stock availability — we flag this upfront in the quote.
Do you handle FAI, mill certs, and PMI testing?
Yes — these are standard inclusions, not extras. First Article Inspection report on every new part. Mill cert traceability from the raw material supplier. PMI (positive material identification) testing available on request, recommended for any part above $500 unit cost.
What's the minimum order quantity?
Prototype: 1 piece is fine, though setup cost dominates so unit price will be high. Production sweet spot: 50–2,000 pieces. Above 2,000 some partners offer better economics; we'll route accordingly. Below 10 pieces, expect honest "this is expensive per part" pricing — we don't hide it.
Can you sign an NDA before reviewing my drawing?
Yes. NDA is signed before drawings move to any partner shop. Mutual NDA available; or we'll counter-sign yours. Drawings shared with partners only after NDA is in place and only with shops actively quoting your job.
